June.29th- July.05th Sunday-Saturday Daily Devotionals & Reflections
Growth is uncomfortable but necessary. You don’t fit in the clothes, the space and the people around you as you grow. You have to start making necessary decisions and choices for your growth not to become stunted. Some things may not be good for you to continue doing to grow in the ways of the Lord and you have to make a conscious decision to let go of things that are not benefiting you and are really just damaging. Sometimes the spaces we have become small, closed in and limited to what God wants us to reach for & we can't thrive in an environment or atmosphere that can choke out our growing garden that He wants to plant and grow in you & around you. Sometimes some people can want you to stay at the level they feel comfortable for you so they don't feel bad about their life and decision if they have company to vent to and not feel alone going through life defeated with like minded people. God wants you to bring growth and encouragement to those around you, not to act like everyone else. He doesn’t want you to stop growing just to make others feel comfortable. They may not want to grow in areas needing growth because it makes them feel uncomfortable but don't let that discourage you. Trust in God and give your growth process to him, pray for those around you and your circumstances to be tended to by your God. Be a light that directs people to Jesus and live life in love of Christ toward all. God wants to upgrade you, those clothes of darkness he wants to give you clothes of light to shine brightly for him! So choose to grow today and everyday in the stature of Christ Jesus!
